Privacy notice
This notice is written with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) of South Africa in mind and applies to trilateralplanningcell.com. The responsible party is the Secretariat of the Trilateral Planning Cell, Av. Eduardo Mondlane, Maputo, Mozambique, admin@trilateralplanningcell.com.
Cookies and tracking: the site sets no cookies and uses no advertising, social-media or fingerprinting scripts. Page-view statistics are collected without cookies and without identifying visitors; they record which pages are viewed, the country of the request and the type of device, in aggregate.
Contact form: when you write to the Secretariat, your name, e-mail address, organisation (if given) and message are relayed once by e-mail to the Secretariat’s mailbox through a transactional e-mail service. Nothing is stored on this website. The Secretariat keeps your message as ordinary correspondence for as long as needed to answer it and for its records.
Hosting: the site is served from a global content-delivery network. The hosting provider keeps standard connection logs (IP address, requested page, time) for security and abuse prevention for a limited period. Your data may therefore be processed outside the member states.
Your rights: you may ask what personal information the Secretariat holds about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its processing, by writing to admin@trilateralplanningcell.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Children: the site is not directed at children and knowingly collects no information from them.
Terms of use
This website presents the public record of the Trilateral Planning Cell for information. It is not a channel for reporting crimes or emergencies — contact your national police service — and nothing on it constitutes legal advice, an operational notice or an official communication to any person.
The content derives from the TPC’s public conference record. Operational details, personal information, live case data and cost figures are withheld by design. Figures not yet confirmed are marked as pending and must not be reported as confirmed.
The site is provided as is. The Secretariat takes care to keep it accurate but gives no warranty of completeness or of uninterrupted availability, and accepts no liability for decisions taken on the basis of its content.
Links to other websites are provided for convenience; the Secretariat is not responsible for their content. The members portal reached through “Login” is a separate system for authorised officers only.
Automated abuse of the contact form, attempts to gain unauthorised access, and scraping of imagery are prohibited.
Accessibility statement
The Trilateral Planning Cell wants this site to be usable by everyone. It is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA and is checked against them before each release.
In practice: every page works without JavaScript; all functions are reachable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a skip link; text and controls meet the AA contrast ratios; animation stands down when your system asks for reduced motion; images carry descriptive alternative text; the whole site is available in English and Portuguese.
Known limitations: the logo pack on the press page is supplied as PNG images; evidence photographs are deliberately redacted, and their alternative text describes the scene, not the redacted detail.
If something on this site is hard to use, write to admin@trilateralplanningcell.com and say which page and what happened. The Secretariat will respond and fix what can be fixed.
Copyright and marks
Text and images on this site are © Trilateral Planning Cell unless stated otherwise. The boilerplate texts and the logo pack on the press page may be reproduced for editorial reporting about the TPC, with attribution. Any other reuse requires the Secretariat’s written permission.
The marks of member services and partner organisations shown on this site belong to their respective owners and are used to identify them.
